Nydia Menéndez obtained her Masters in Tax Law from Georgetown University. She is a former fellow of the Council on State Taxation (“COST”), the national think-tank of state and local tax issues. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Law, a Masters from Fordham University, and her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
She has been admitted to all Florida courts, the US Southern and Middle Districts of Florida Courts, and to the US Tax Court.
She currently practices in the areas of tax, real estate, estate planning, trust administration, probate and corporate law.
Ms. Menéndez’s career has evolved from various perspectives, including government, the private sector, academia, and as an industry advocate. These career roles enable Ms. Menéndez to assess the competing interests from the perspective of someone who has taken one position or the other at some point in time. Thus allowing her to settle most cases with favorable results for her clients, in an expeditious and cost-effective manner.
The Menéndez Law Firm has established strong community ties through its participation and support of numerous voluntary bar associations and local community organizations.
