Experience
Mr. Gersh has been in private practice since 1978. Prior to that, he served as a trial attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he investigated and prosecuted federal securities fraud cases throughout the United States. He is licensed in Kentucky, U.S. District Courts of Western & Eastern Kentucky, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Gersh is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, and has served as the president of the International Association for Financial Planning. He has also hosted a radio call-in show about estate planning titled, “You Can’t Take It With You”, as well as co-authored the book Guiding Those Left Behind In Kentucky, a primer on how to settle an estate in Kentucky.
