Christopher (Chris) Scolari joined the Ambler Keenan Mitchell Johnson team as an Associate in October 2019. Chris’ work with Ambler Keenan focuses on estate planning and probate matters throughout Colorado. Chris is licensed to practice law by the Colorado Supreme Court and is an active member of the Denver Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association.
Prior to joining the Ambler Keenan team Chris worked in a variety of positions focusing on natural resource and environmental law and policy throughout the West, including in private legal practice, the private business sector, and in bipartisan federal policy. Chris has developed significant expertise in property law, including land and mineral ownership matters and related testate and family conveyance issues in Colorado.
Chris made the transition from natural resource law to estate planning because he sincerely enjoys working with families and values the peace of mind that a proactive estate plan provides. Chris believes that a smart, comprehensive estate plan is vital to protecting family and property, and central to preventing family strife. As a Colorado native, Chris is proud to serve his fellow Denver Metro area community members.
Chris earned his B.A. from the University of Kansas in Lawrence and is a 2010 graduate of Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. During his time at Sturm, Chris served as President of the DU Moot Court Board, was a member of the school’s Elder Law Society and Wills Lab, and interned with the Denver Probate Court.
