Peggy Burton is a probate and estate planning attorney with experience in the areas of professional liability, employment law, and civil litigation as well. Peggy practiced law in the San Francisco Bay Area for sixteen years before relocating to Redding recently and joining Johnson Law Offices. Peggy assists clients in all aspects of estate planning, including the preparation of revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney and health care directives. She also represents personal representatives in probate administrations and conservators in conservatorship matters. She assists trustees in trust administrations following the first and/or second settlor(s) death and represents litigants in trust litigation.
Peggy received her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1997. Prior to that time she was a paralegal for ten years in the areas of probate, civil litigation and corporate law. Peggy participates in California State Bar sanctioned continuing education programs to remain current on laws regarding the practice areas that affect her clients.
Peggy is also very active in the American Cancer Society having co-chaired a team for the Pacifica Relay for Life for 15 years since its inception in honor of her sister.
